Save the Children USA is the leading independent organization that creates real and lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world, invites application from qualified and experienced candidates for its SHIKHON program. SHIKHON is a 4 year Non-formal Primary Education program supported by European Commission.

Position: Senior Program Officer -NFPE (2 Positions, Based in Dhaka)

This is position is mainly responsible for providing technical support to the partner organizations for smooth implementation of the non-formal primary education activities of SHIKHON program which includes teacher's guidebook and training manual development, providing training to the relevant counter parts, supporting and monitoring activities in the fields. S/he will be closely working with NFPE technical team under close guidance of Deputy Program Manager responsible for non-formal primary education. Minimum Requirements: Masters in any subject preferably in Education or Educational Research, 5 years experience out of which 3 years with NFPE/Primary Education program, excellent hands-on experience on material development and review, Knowledge of pedagogy in relation to NFPE programming, excellent skills on training designing and facilitation, inter­-personal communication skills, team work and networking are desired requirements.
